Western Red Cedar bevel siding is the most widely used cedar siding type. It is produced by resawing lumber at an angle to produce two pieces thicker on one edge than the other. The manufacturing process results in pieces with one face saw textured. The other face is smooth or saw textured depending on the grade and customer preference. Bevel siding is installed horizontally and gives an attractive shadow line which varies with the thickness of siding selected.

Channel siding is another siding option we offer in Western Red Cedar.  This unique siding is available in a smooth or rough sawn finish.  One of the unique features of Channel Siding from Thomas Lumber is it can be installed vertical, horizontal, or at an angle.  We produce and stock this siding in two most common patterns used in the Atlanta area, Channel Rustic and Shiplap.  With our on-site mill we have the capability to produce other patterns, something no other siding supplier can provide

Thomas Lumber also sells a unique product called 2x8 D-Log Cabin.  This unique product allows you to have a rustic log cabin look on the outside while the inside of the home doesn’t have the log look.  As with our Bevel Cedar we produce this product on site at our mill out of the same material.
